About Candessa
The founder and Head Mistress of Ms.
LaVie’s School of Loving Arts is Candessa Hadsall (aka
”Ms.LaVie”). Candessa is a registered nurse, counselor, community
organizer and sexuality instructor with over 25 years of experience in the
health arena. She has worked in sexuality education and reproductive health
care, mental health, women’s issues, sexual assault, violence prevention,
family and relationship dysfunction, and recovery from chemical dependence.
Candessa has recently been certified as a
Cuddle Party facilitator!
Her passion is teaching about healthy sexuality and relationships using a wholistic approach that emphasizes the positive dimensions. Ms. LaVie’s School is the expression of Candessa’s vision for a wholistic approach to health that focuses on integrating sexuality into the other aspects of the self. Candessa is the primary teacher of classes at Ms. LaVie's, and also offers sex coaching in individual sessions.
Other instructors come to the school to offer specific classes or workshops. Ms. LaVie's has been proud to host Anyaa McAndrew, Baba Dez Nichols, Reid Mihalko and Marcia Baczynski, Deborah Sundahl, Chris Englund, Kimala Kai, and Bernie and Diana Soline as teachers or guides.
